Our Mission & Vision/Nuestra Misión y Visión:

As a part of the body of Christ, our vision is to worship God in all that we do.  We have purposed to be a church that is discipling others in obedience to Christ’s command, and our goal is to live out the gospel beyond the walls of the church to the glory of God in our relationships, homes, schools and workplaces.

Leadership Team:

Our leadership team recognizes the authority of God, and realizes that we are shepherds who serve under the Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ. We desire to devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the Word. Our passion and goal is to equip the believers for the work of the ministry until we all attain maturity in the fullness of Christ.

Sean Ryan, Pastor

Welcome to Bethel! My name is Sean Ryan and I have the privilege of serving as pastor here alongside a committed team of elders who love Jesus. My family is thankful to be part of this unique church community with an amazing history. Here’s a brief bio of me and my family:

Family: I was born in 1972, raised in Michigan, and spent much of my life in the Midwestern United States. I’m married to Jennifer, a woman full of discernment and authentic love for our friends, family, and those we serve. We have 4 children: adult twin daughters, a teenage daughter, and a son in elementary school. Our family members all greatly enjoy athletics, music, art, reading, deep conversation, and lasting friendships. We love to tell the stories of how God has worked in our lives. We look forward to sharing more with you if we get to meet you in person!

Work and Ministry: I have worked 9 years of my life as a software engineer, and I was English Pastor in a Chinese Christian church in Ohio for nearly 5 years. Prior to coming to Bethel, our family served as missionaries in the Dominican Republic equipping Christian leaders for church ministry, with a special emphasis on care for orphans and vulnerable children.

Education: I hold an undergraduate degree in Computer Science from Michigan State University, a Master of Divinity from Cornerstone University, and a doctorate from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. I am so humbled by the rich opportunities God has given me to study and put my learning into practice throughout my life.

Jessica Collison, Praise team leader

One of the highlights of our Sunday service is worshiping the Lord in both English and Spanish praise music led by Jessica and her group of dedicated volunteer musicians.  Using theologically sound lyrics the music we sing at Bethel seeks to honor Christ while at the same time by drawing from the best which both cultures can offer.

Andy Fytczyk, Bookkeeper Andy has worked at Bethel since 2013 as our bookkeeper, assisting in the administration of our church’s needs.
